Georgetown Visitation School

WE WON the ISL Banner for Swimming.

On Jan. 30, 2011. Visitation won the ISL Banner for the first time in school history.  We won the ISL championship, taking the banner away from Holton-Arms after 7 long years. This would not have happened without the help of our divers Ally Russo, Casey Kerkhof and Hannah Stover who placed 3,4,5.

This year got off to a great start with our second first place finish in the WMPSSDL Relay Carnival on December 4, 2010. The 200 Medley Relay with Megan Gray (back), Bridie Burke (Breast), Casey Lindlaw (fly),  and Megan McCormick (free) broke the school record that had been set at the 2010 Metros.

In the WMPSSDL Championship meet Visitation placed 4th this year, the highest ranking ISL school and a vast improvment over last years 9th place finish. The girls broke another 200 Free Relay Record with Sarah Allen, Casey Lindlaw, Megan McCormick and Bridie Burke. The year is not over yet and we still have a few more opertunities to break some more records with this winning team.
