41 year-old School record falls at Metros 2015

In 1974, the STA 400FR R of W. Reid, W.J. Strudwick, J. Inglefield, J. Verdin set the STA School Record with a 3:20.09.  According to Swimming World, that team was All-American and ranked 4th Nationally for Prep Schools.

At prelims the team of James Flood(Jr), R. Gabidoulline(So), A. LaBossiere(Fr), and H. Bredar(Sr) went 3:16.7 to break a record that was older than many faculty on the campus.  With a great start to the meet, more records fell:

James Flood continued having a great meet with new school records in the 200 IM and 100 Br.  Ruslan Gabidoulline added his contribution with a new record in the 200 Free. A total of 4 school records were broken at Metros, a performance leading to a 10th Pl overall finish.  In an earlier meet, James Flood also had broken a school record in the 100 Bk making a total of 5 new records this season.

 Well done Bulldogs!
