Editing your Team page on Reachforthewall.com is really simple!
First you must log in, and if you're a first time user you must register. Once you are logged in, go to your team page. (You can find your team's page through the "Team/Swimmer Search" at the top of this page, or grouped by League under the Summer Pools tab on the left side of this page.) When you go to your team page, you will notice that there is an Edit Page icon and label, up on the left, beneath the banner ad at the top of the page. (You must be logged in to see it enabled!) The Edit Page icon and label is active only if you are authorized to edit that page.
Editing Text Content:
Click on the 'Edit Page' icon. The team page will then be displayed in rich text editor. This editor should seem familiar to you and works similar to applications such as Microsoft Word. When you are in this editor you can add and modify whatever text you want. If you change your mind press the Cancel button with the big green arrow next to it to go back to the page view. If you are ready to submit the change press the Save button (with the disk icon).
You can italicize text or make it bold by highlighting the text and choosing the I or B button, respectively. You can colorize text by highlighting it and pulling down the color palette next to the T icon in the editor toolbar and choosing your color. You can left justify, center and right justify your text, add bulleted and numbered lists, use quotes and underline text. You can hyperlink text content to other websites using the hyperlink icon (the globe with the link icon next to it). You can also put headlines on your text in various styles, by highlighting your headline text and choosing a heading next to the "Format" label. Feel free to delete our original template type, too, but try not to delete your team's name or the code on the right side that starts with "{{".
Adding Pictures and Video:
You can easily add pictures and video as attachments to your page. When you are logged in and at your team page, you will see the Attachments section at the bottom of the page. Choose 'Attach file'.
This brings up a file selector window. This window enables you to upload pictures and videos from your desktop. Most standard picture types (.gif, .jpg, .png) are supported.
Someone has added inappropriate content to your team page and you don't like it!
Since this is a wiki, any logged in user can edit a team page. If your team page has been changed by someone else and you are not happy with the change, do not worry -- simply edit, and modify their change.
You can always choose to see the Page History of the page and revert to a previous version of the page. To see the team page history, click on the Page History link next to the "page last modified" by description below the title of the page. This will show you all the previous versions of the page. You can check out differences between versions. If you choose View version on a previous version, it will display the previous version and you will see a Revert button on the page. Pressing this button allows you to revert to that earlier version.
