What about the Colonial Swim League in Virginia?
Posted 19:04, 22 Jun 2009
We honestly didn't know about the Colonial Swim League and I couldn't be more sorry about that. I left a voice mail for the Colonial League president, Bobby Winterbottom, this morning. Please let me know via info@reachforthewall.com or rubinm@washpost.com how best to get in touch with someone from the Colonial to see if they would be interested in joining us for the remainder of this season.
Thanks!

The Web site is a great idea and I'm sure it's going to be a big hit. One suggestion: Is there some way the Team Pages can be adjusted so that input appears higher. As it stands now, A story about the most recent weekend meet appears below the league team listings on the left, then below the `Going Out Guide,' then below the big Team Name line, then below another foot or so of listings under About, Schedule and Big Winners. I'm willing to bet that many people go to a team site, look for input, and don't see any immediately and give up.

Is there some way that team pages can be adjusted so that input appears higher? At present, a story about a team's most recent meet appears below leage Team listings (with lots of open space to the right), then below the `Going Out Guide' ad, then below the Team Name line, then below the About, Schedule and Big Winners section. People visiting a Team Page don't see anytning immediately and may give up before finding any local input.

Please consider adding the Dominion Country Club League to your site. It's probably too late for this summer, but it would be terrific to have these ten teams added for 2010. Thanks.

The ESPL (East Severna Park League) and GASL (Greater Annapolis Swim League) should also be added. In addition, Anne Arundel County Public High Schools (AACPS) have great swimming records as well but no major coverage in the Post. (Broadneck (Boys)and Severna Park (Girls) were the MD State Champions in Boys and Girls Swimming this season, with the Broadneck Boys repeating as State Champs. The Naval Academy Aquatic Club (NAAC)www.naac.ws was awarded the Bronze designation from USA Swimming.

As mentioned earlier, the Colonial Swim League represents a good number of Northern VA swimmers, including myself. It would be great to see our events covered by Reach For the Wall!

Mitch: I sent an e-mail to info@reachforthewall.com but have not received a response yet. I am the head computer operator for the Dominion Country Club League. Your website is great and a great solution for our league. I would like to post our leagues summer swim results for our 10 clubs here. How do I go about doing that? You can reach me by e-mail at EKFishbein@aol.com. Thanks so much! Ellen
