Ashton vs. Waters Landing

The first home meet of the season went swimmingly!  Ashton and Waters Landing both had some amazing races but in the end, it really came down to the final relays where Ashton came from behind in both the boys and girls relays to win the meet 417 to 370.

The meet started with an electric guitar rendition of the National Anthem played by none other than Michael Cleary.  Michael taught himself how to play guitar and when asked Friday morning if he could perform, he stated "I don't know the song, but I can learn it".  And he did! 

Liam Cleary, Katherine Cleary & Spencer Sterling all swept their respective events and also earned All-Star times.  Other good swims came from Annmarie Hawley, Maddi Kalen, Matthew Kenney, Sarah Sterling,  Joanna Purich and Ciara Willett.  Several of our Minnows swam in their first ever A meet too!: Griffin Bossie &  Sean Gray.

Coach Chuck Webb is already looking forward to the next A meet at home vs Manor Woods.  GO GATORS!!
