Rachel Tao, a 10 years old swimmer of the Rivercrest Riptide broke three
Old Dominion Swim League records. They were broken during last Saturday's meet against Lenah Run. She set the records in 50 backstroke, 25 butterfly, and 100 individual medley.
Rachel set the new 50 Back record at 37.16 seconds. It was almost a four second improvement from the previous 40.90 record time.
After a short break, Rachel came back to the pool and made a half second improvement on the 25 butterfly record . She finished the 25 butterfly stroke in 16.21 seconds, breaking the previous 16.77 record time.
Rachel broke the 100 individual medley by almost two seconds. Rachel finished the 100 individual medley in 1:23.91 breaking the previous record of 1:25.12.
